Google’s latest decision of selling eBooks will threaten stores like Amazon which is a popular eBook reader. Amazon sells 280,000 fixed-price titles that can only be read on the Kindle or its iPhone app.On the other hand Google has decided to allow publishers to set prices for their eBooks, which will mean a price increase across many titles. Moreover it’s a fact that Google doesn’t have a eBook Reader and doesn’t even seem to have one in the near future. this will definitely encourage many companies to create eBook readers to take advantage of Google’s new store.
Now that’s a serious threat for Amazon and other stores like this.
