Dev.xscheme.de released LastSharp , a utility, which allows you to download music from Last.fm . This software allows, not only to download the desired music, but also, downloads the albumart which arranges your downloaded songs in the artist-album-song hierarchy. You need to have a ‘free’ account on Last.fm (Get a free account here) and you are all set to use the LastSharp services. The basic software is in Deutsch, but, can be easily converted to English using the following steps:
- Launch the software once the download is complete. (Download from here).
- The screen looks like this :
- Click on the tab at the bottom of the window ‘shown in the picture above’ and then click on the drop down and select “English” , as shown in the image below.
- Now restart the application to see the changes.
- You can search for music based on several criteria tabs as shown in the picture below. Just select anyone of them and type in a keyword in the box and hit “Go” to start searching.
- Now you will see a list of songs, simply right-click on the song you want to download and hit “Download”.
- Also take a look at the settings under “Advanced Settings” tab were you can select if you want to save covers, remember downloads, etc..
