When you use skype anytime, it, by default saves all your chats, messages, calls, file transfers and SMS and keeps a record of all your actions on skype which are all accessible from the ‘show history’ option. Deleting all the histories is an utterly easy task, just the option is hidden inside the menus! You have got to perform some simple equations and you are all done :
- Choose Tools > Options, Go to the Privacy tab and hit the ‘Clear History’ button.
- A dialog box will popup asking you for confirmation regarding deleting all previous text chats, voicemail, calls, file transfers and SMS messages.
- Hit Delete and you’re done.
Your Skype call and chat history has been deleted.
You can also disable or turn-off the skype history by using the ‘No History’ option under ‘Keep History for’ in the Privacy tab.
