We all have heard about calculators, cookers, or batteries that either work or get charged by solar energy. But, a solar powered mobile phone is a completely new concept. This out-of-the-box thinking has been made by DoCoMo, who found it very important that solar energy could also be used for this purpose.
Right now, a prototype for the same is being tested, and hopefully we could get a solar powered mobile phone in the next 20 years. Does that mean that the cellular service providers would suffer huge losses during winter & rainy seasons?? Think it yourselves!!
