Lenovo’s latest IdeaPad Y560d 3D notebook

In the tech world of notebooks and netbooks, Lenovo has launched the IdeaPad Y560d 3D notebook, Which has instantly hit high sales within a few weeks of its launch!! The Y560d has an inbuilt TriDef 3D system consisting of the displays, the glasses and the softwares. Amongst the latter, as Lenovo claims, the “TriDef Photo transformer”  and “TriDef Media Player” can convert and display conventional 2D photos and videos directly in 3D version!

With a starting price of $ 1399, the Y560d shows a display of 15.6” 16:9 and with a resolution of 1366×768. Powered by Intel Core i7-720QM 1.6Ghz processor, the Y560d comes with an ATi Mobility Radeon HD5730 1GB GPU to pump out the pixels. Again, with a DDR3 RAM of 4GB and a 500 GB 5,400rpm HDD for storage, The notebook comes with a DVD burner for optical media and a WiFi b/g/n support and bluetooth2.1 +EDR.

With three USB 2.0 ports, a USB/eSATA combo port, Express Card and VGA and HDMI output ports, with graphics switching technology to switch between the integrated Intel HD chipset, ATi’s discrete GPU for efficient power management, roughly 4hrs battery life on the discrete GPU and up to 5hrs on the integrated chipset, Y560d no doubts makes the sales sore high. And to add to that Y560d comes preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium plus the Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d is shipped within five days!! What can be better??
