PayPal App Updated to Include Bump

August 30, 2010 by: 0

PayPal has updated the Android PayPal app to include the popular Bump service. What the PayPal/Bump integration does is allows users to bump phones together to send money to each other.

The feature has been available on the iPhone for a few months now. It has provided iPhone users a simple way to PayPal money to each other. This can be done without having to enter email addresses to send the cash to.

So if you want to look good when it comes down to sending money to someone on PayPal, you can basically “bump”, or a slight nudge that some prefer, your handset with another to instantly send money. Also the update offers the “split the check” feature which will take the hassle of gathering money from different parties when you’re out having a nice dinner.

It lessens the burden on you when friends ask to borrow money from you. It’ll calculate the total bill and remind you to collect the specific amount from each person. All in all, these features will come in handy for those individuals who depend on PayPal a lot.
