File Splitter lite is a portable, lightweight (255KB) and very speedy processing tool. We introduce you to File Splitter which help in merging script to join innumerable files and splits them very easily.
File Splitter lite is very convenient and easy. It has Split and Join tabs and works as follows:
Splitting Process
- Specify the source file, output directory, enter number of files you need to create or file size and finally size unit (KB, MB, and GB).
- Click Split to start the process.
Joining process
It is very easy, all you need is:
- Specify the first files, it will find rest of the files in the same directory by itself and display the space required.
- Select the output directory.
- Give file a name.
- Click Join to join all the files together.
Now about the working:
It is very fast, it took 45 seconds to split AVI file of size 885 MB and only 11 seconds to join it back. All this was conducted on a medium-specs computer running Windows 7 x86. It supports all versions of windows.
