Samsung Star 3G. a phone that ruined my Touch Screen Experience

The Samsung Star 3G  looks particularly good though it’s pretty indecent for its price at the time of launch. The phone is slim and lightweight, and weighing nearly 100g which fits very well in your pocket.

This comes with a good enough 2.8-inch screen at  resolution of 240×320 pixels, a let down if you ask me beacuse of the low resolution on such a large screen results in a bit of pixilation.

The  touch buttons  for the keypads and menu are not very well placed  making the functionality not very handy.

It also employs a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash and speakers at the bottom left ,  which is the only good thing about the phone.

The Phone’s memory can be expanded upto 16GB, backed up by a 80GB internal Memory.Kudus..!!.

The Samsung Star 3G has a very simple touch input which goes crazy when u are running in a low battery. In such cases You Just cant make a Call If the number does not existing in the recent calls history.

Battery power is another downer. It just does not lasts long.It has got a standard keypad.

Sound without headphones is also not good enough to make your phone a Head turner.

The much required these day, QWERTY touchpad has gone missing.

I have not seen a Stylus  for Star 3G till date.. however images on display shows it.

The phone comes with quite a good number of pre-installed appz. such for google maps, flickr, photobucket, picasa, youtube video  .Also including an application to Share-pix on several online image portals like Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, Photobucket, Friendster, and MySpace.Quite good but only if you have time.

The other topups include Convertor,Music Player,FM Tuner, Voice Recorder, Timer, Stopwatch, and RSS Reader.

I have been Using only Sony Erricssons from past 9 years

I understood one thing..

Moving On from your Trusted Brand in search for Better is quite a Risk,
