Step 1: Open mouse properties by typing ‘mouse’ in the search box following by hitting Enter.

Step 2: From the mouse properties windows, select ‘Hardware’.

Step 3: Select the appropriate mouse by clicking once, not twice.

Step 4: To get the properties of the particular mouse, select on ‘Properties’.

Step 5: Now click on ‘Change Settings’ option to customize your mouse.

Step 6: Now click ‘Power Management’.

Step 7: Disable ‘Allow this device to wake up the computer’ by unchecking the check box.

Step 8: Click on ‘OK’ to finally apply the changes.
