On their next birthday if your kid demands for a netbook, don’t be surprised. Because Lenovo + Intel gave them all the reasons to be techie. Lenovo has teamed up with Intel and made efforts to introduce a netbook for kids + youngsters. This netbook is named Classmate+. Impressive for name for parents and fun for children!
Since Classmate+ is exclusively for youngsters so it’s not powered as usual netbooks. Its features are designed keeping children’s needs in mind. Its specifications are as follows:
- It has an Intel Atom N455 CPU
- 1 or 2 GB RAM
- Use Window 7
- It has a 10.1 inch anti-glare screen
- A 1.3 megapixel camera
- Wi-Fi access
- 2 speakers
- 1.33 kg weight
- A three cell or a six cell battery
Its storage capacity is enough for a youngster with storage options of either 8 GB or a 16 GB SSD or a 160 or 250 GB HDD. It is briefcase shaped showing a formal look and has a light weight 1.54 kg battery with the 6-cell version.
Classmate+ is too special to be in stores, so it will be sold only to educational institutions and agencies. Students of Argentina have been too lucky in getting Classmate+ first this spring by the Organization of lbero-American States.
