Samsung recently came up with Samsung NF210 Netbook. Samsung has well thought of its curves which definitely gives it a very neat and tidy look. The powder blue color and glossy finish on the lid looks great with 10.1-inch LED backlit display screen inside having non glossy finish, making it easy to view.
The Chiclet design of its keyboard has a pretty comfortable design which makes it very comfortable to type on. But the area below the keyboard is slightly small which not a big issue. This may be due to the speakers in the upper area with trackpad that’s also small in size. The outlook of Samsung NF210 Netbook is very good as all the ports are very ideally placed keeping the design functional. The build quality of Samsung NF210 Netbook is very good and the design is surely appealing to human eye.
Features Samsung NF210 Netbook:
As we said features are basic just like its design. The Samsung NF210 Netbook comes with dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor that clocks 1.5 GHz and a 1 GB DDR2 RAM with 250 GB of storage space, best suitable for regular user. But the netbook has good connectivity options with Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 capabilities. The Samsung NF210 Netbook also boasts of a 3 W speakers which has great openings with keyboard. This netbook will not have USB 3.0 ports as NF210 runs on Intel’s NM10 chipset. But today USB 3.0 port always comes handy. A HDMI port will be of great value in terms of money.
Performance Samsung NF210 Netbook:
Samsung NF210 Netbook is worthy of price for 22,990/- with average features but is great compared to other netbooks. This netbook is very close to Toshiba’s NB520 which had a 2 GB RAM. The transfer rate for hard drive is below expectations. A better screen with comfortable viewing angles can add to over all features of netbook.
The speakers are great and make the sound to be heard all over home. Battery test was another disappointing feature which saw the Samsung NF210 Netbook run for 3 hours 50 minutes from a 6 cell Li-Ion Battery which is quite low if compared to Aspire One D260, or the Acer Gateway LT23.
Verdict: If you are not too look oriented then in 1500 less only you can get Samsung NF210 Netbook with same performance.
