BlackBerry Bold 9900, Bold 9300 and BlackBerry OS 7 Announced By RIM

RIM recently announced a major upgrade in the BlackBerry Bold line as the Bold 9900 and 9930 smartphones are soon going to get launched. This both masterpieces will have the familiar QWERTY keypad and the new “Liquid Graphics” touch screen. Adding to it, the new Blackberry 9900 and 9930 will run on the latest and new Blackberry OS 7 and will feature 720p HD video, built-in NFC (Near Field Communication) technology.

Hardware Of BlackBerry Bold:

Blackberry Bold 9900 and 9930 will have a 1.2 GHz processor, a 768 MB RAM, 8 GB on-board memory (microSD slot supporting up to 32 GB cards), a 5 megapixel camera and 720p video recording. A built-in accelerometer and a compass for location-based services is also given.

Display Of BlackBerry Bold:

The new Bolds will feature 2.8-inch Liquid Capacitive touch screen display which has a 640 x 480, 287 ppi resolution. The iPhone 4 offers 326 ppi by the way of comparison. “It will offer up to 60 frames-per-second performance with instant UI action/response” according to RIM.

The price of BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 9300 are not announced yet.
