(RIM) Research in Motion; the makers of Blackberry are struggling for years to meet the requirements of present market. There strategies also played a good role for the survival in the market against Apple’s Iphone and Google’s Android.
But there are two aspects which can make Blackberry’s market to downfall. They are:-
1. Apple Inc. has enough money to buy whole of the blackberry’s share.
2. Research in motion; have is divided into two sections for the sale of their Playbook which may effect their integration.
From first point we come to know about the ongoing competition in the market and with second point we know that Blackberry is failed to provide the product of customer’s choice.

Blackberry is always known for his loyal brand status. So why was this happened to RIM?? Lets make the analysis and find out.
1. Blackberry’s Playbook is lacking email application. BIS services which are considered as the backbone of Blackberry’s services can only provide one user account per device.
2. Blackberry promised their customers to launch their QNX operating system. Although they are working for it but competitors are launching their new models and they are also upgrading their old models.
3. Governmental warning for blocking RIM services was also a big issue.
4. If talking about the functionality; Blackberry is having the good keypad but what’s extra which another phone doesn’t have?
Where there’s a will there’s a way: Old saying but honestly its true.
Today Iphone is the symbol of Smartphones, but if Blackberry compromises with the tastes of its consumers if by considering design features or cloud services, their fortune may be reversed again.
1. If RIM will also provide some services like Android’s free downloads and less restrictive then that of Apple’s itunes then for sure it will also effect some ongoing market status of the Blackberry.
2. Learning from Apple and making things easy for customers can also make RIM feel relax.
