This laptop can create the backache problem as it is weighing 3kg. This laptop is not better for carrying with you from place to place during your business tours but if you want to carry it from one room of your house to another room then it is quite suitable.
Pattern of keyboard is quite nice as isolated keys are provided in the keyboard and keys are separated with each other with sufficient amount of space. Special numeric keypad is provided in right side of the keyboard for frequent users. A track pad with multipoint indication is given so as you can zoom in your favorite snaps in the website and have a closer look on them.
This laptop is having blu-ray disk reader so that you could play high definition movies. Major advantage type disadvantage is that this laptop is having four USB ports but all the ports are having older version i.e. USB 2.0. The oldest thing which Samsung is serving from years is the facility of HDMI output. This laptop is also having HDMI port so that you can directly connect to your televisions and take the advantage of both audio and video cables.
Some extra features this laptop is having are WI-FI facility, Bluetooth and the most awesome 640 GB hard disk for storing as much as you can.
Hardware
Although Intel has launched its new hardware components in the market but this model of Samsung is having old processor of Intel i-5 processor with processing speed of 2.56GHz but what makes it exclusive is its huge RAM of 6GB.
If talking about graphic card then it is having graphic card of NVIDIA GEFORCE 315M CHIP. However, battery performance of this laptop is quite poor as it is having big screen and processor. The battery back up is not more than 56 minutes.
My Conclusion
Samsung RC710 is quite good laptop for home purposes. But its battery life is quite poor and this laptop is not preferred for gaming purposes. Design features are also not good.
