Sony doesn’t wish to call it Thunderbolt and are calling it “Light Peak” instead. They claim that this is a port that connects the dock and the laptop. No, this is not one of the various tricks that Sony is playing, because, it is actually based on the USB 3.0.
Sony Vaio Z will be available across Europe in July and sony is sure to release more “Light Peak” products in the future. The cost of each laptop is around $2295.
