Windows has launched its new Avenue App Store this morning. The new Avenue App Store is a special store for Windows enabled phones. Previously, there wasn’t an app store for Windows yet but they had to release an app store soon as they were releasing many phones and there was a need to bring out an app store.
Currently the apps displayed on its website were described as free and the best thing is that the apps displayed there on the app store are mostly the apps commonly used by people. The latest new in the app market is that Angry Birds has come to Windows app market. However, some apps are not free and many games come under the category of paid apps.
Now there are many advantages with the new Avenue App Store that you can create a login id and then you can download all apps from there. The best thing is that you don’t need to download apps to your mobile phone directly and can download them to your computer and then transfer them to your phone. This way it becomes more convenient for you to download apps from Avenue App Store. Another feature from Avenue App Store is that you can download apps from your login id and then access all your downloaded apps from another computer simply by using your id.
Right now, the Avenue App Store is in its initial stages and will take time to advance further. They will have to compete with the well developed app markets like that of Android and Apple’s. They have many apps that are very good and people have a great faith on them for providing good utility apps. Also note that Android app market has more than 250,000 apps in its app store.
