Now if you are smart and want to get a nice laptop than the HP Mini 5102 is the best option for all of you. HP Mini 5102 is that kind of laptop which is more secure and durable than others. It’s predecessor HP Mini 5101 was a 2.8 pound laptop and sports all-metal case and also features a comfortable keyboard. Now, in HP Mini 5102 they have added new color options, facial recognition, and an optional capacitive multi-touch display which is cool. For me, the most significant addition to HP Mini 5102 is the Intel’s ultra-efficient Atom N450 processor. You will have to pay extra money to buy it and it will surely not outcast it’s competitors but yet it is our Editor’s choice.
The design of HP Mini 5102 is nice, it looks like they have shrunked the HP ProBook which I guess is good. The case is made up of anodized aluminum on the top and magnesium alloy on the bottom. HP Mini 5102 measures 0.9 inches thin and can be easily slip into backpack or briefcase. The weight of v is 2.8 pounds including six-cell battery. The battery is placed well at the bottom of the HP Mini 5102 and you will hardly notice it.
To attract student HP Mini 5102 has an island-style keyboard and it is one of the best in the netbook category. It is comfortable, not so much congested and it impress you with its big right shift key and enter key. Though the Touchpad of HP Mini 5102 is bit small measuring 2.5 x 1.4 inches compared to Toshiba mini NB205 and it was slightly difficult to move the cursor. The mouse keys have responded well to us.
The display of HP Mini 5102 is nice and it has a standard 10.2-inch LED backlit panel on the HP Mini 5102 which is bright. The resolution of HP Mini 5102 is 1024 x 600 pixels. Viewing angles are good as it was comfortable for two people to watch an online TV show. HP Mini 5102 has great sound and the front speakers easily filled the room when we played Flo Rida’s “Right Round” on Pandora.
