LG launched today the new LG Optimus Pro in Italy. The phone is operable through Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform and is another phone belonging to the QWERTY keyboard mobile phone family. The new phone takes many of its features from its predecessor, the LG Optimus 2X and LG Optimus Black.
LG Optimus Pro also called as LG Optimus Pro C660 was launched just yesterday. Well. The C660 is just a code but if in future, LG releases another phone which will take LG Optimus Pro’s lineage further, and then the code will be significant otherwise not. The new LG Optimus Pro has a 2.8 inches 240×320 pixels resolution capacitive touchscreen and is powered by a single core 800 MHz processor with 512 MB RAM. The phone also boasts of a 3 MP camera that takes good images.
The phone features HSPDA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. LG Optimus Pro supports quad band GSM technology and it is not clear at the moment whether it supports 3G services or not. Looking at the QWERTY keypad, I had thought that the keys are placed a tad too close and their size is also very small. Given the fact that these kinds of smartphones are to be used by men and women alike then this kind of a keypad could create some trouble while typing and texting.
