More Keyboard Shortcuts to Work Faster

I have always loved keyboard shortcuts. Using keyboard shortcuts actually boost your productivity because most of the time when you have your hands placed on the keyboard then it wastes some time when you need to take your one hand from the keyboard to operate the mouse. The same does applies to the laptops also. When you need to navigate or select something using the track pad, it also takes time and I being more comfortable working on my desktop computer find it very easy to apply keyboard shortcuts and this definitely saves a lot of time for me.

So I decided to write an article on some of the shortcuts that I use most often. These are the shortcuts that will make your work faster and they apply to windows platform basically and not for Apple.

Keyboard Shortcuts

CTRL+ L                              select URL, focus cursor on URL

CTRL+ SHIFT+ T             reopen closed tab

CTRL+ T                              opens new tab

CTRL+ +/-                          zoom +/ zoom –

CTRL+ 0                              return to normal screen size

Windows button+ L        lock computer

Windows+ D/M                minimize all tabs

Shift+ home/end             select all text on current line, relative to cursor

Ctrl+ right/left arrow    move cursor one word at a time

Ctrl+ shift+ right/left     select one word at a time

I hope that these keyboard shortcuts will be of great use to you.
