Toshiba Mini NB305-N410: Review

Toshiba Mini NB205-N410 is the latest laptop by Toshiba and so far for me the best designed laptop ever made. The Toshiba Mini NB205-N410 is much better than its predecessor and includes sleeker chassis, louder speakers and a great Intel Atom N450 processor. To give a svelte look, Toshiba Mini NB205-N410 is 1.4 inches in the rear and approximately 0.5 inches in front. The edges are nice as you will notice that NB305 looks much more rounded than before. The most significant change made in Toshiba Mini NB205-N410 is the battery. Previously, the battery was tucked in the rear but now it is tucked underneath the system say nearly an inch off the system and the good news is that the weight remains constant.

Now the most important part comes, we are thankful to Toshiba that they didn’t change the keyboard and the Touchpad which is superb. Metal island keyboard on the Toshiba Mini NB205-N410 is the best we’ve seen so far. The keyboard is simply comfortable and the shift keys are appreciable. Though we have noticed two disadvantages: one is the Function keys are quite small and; the shortcuts which has gray icons is hard to see against the silver background. The Touchpad is the best compared to other notebooks. There are two dedicated right and left mouse buttons which are large enough to press easily.

The display of Toshiba Mini NB205-N410 is bright and nice. The only bad thing about it was the reflections when content viewing in dark backgrounds. The visual are sharp though but the horizontal viewing angles weren’t as wide we would have liked.
