The hard drive is very different from the regular hard drives that are available in the market as it has a unique combination of style as well as durability.
The outer cover of the ADATA SH14 is made up of a unique silicone material that has a smooth surface texture. The curved grid pattern on the body of the hard disc adds to the classic look. The hard drive has a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface that provided high speed data transfer at the astronomical rates of up to 5.0 GB per second. The device also consists of a 2.5 inch 5400 rpm laptop hard drive which along with the USB 3.0 can achieve a data exchange speed of 90 MB per second.
ADATA SH14 is pre-loaded with HDDtoGo backup software as well as a 60 day trial version of Norton Internet Security 2011 which you can download once you register for the product online.
The ADATA SH14 is available in three variants with respect to disc space. They are 500 GB, 750 GB, and 1 TB and are priced at Rs.3735, Rs.4590, and Rs.5940, respectively. The hard drives come with a three year warranty period.
