Another addition was made to the Blackberry set of phones when RIM (Research in Motion) recently introduced a new phone, dubbed BlackBerry Bold 9900, which is equipped with the BlackBerry 7 operating system in India at a price of Rs.32490. The phone is the slimmest model of the BlackBerry handsets.
Frenny Bawa, the managing director of RIM in India, said that the company was ecstatic over the launch of the new BlackBerry model in the country. Also, he said that the new phone is sure to overwhelm the customers with its enhanced features and exceptional performance.
BlackBerry Bold 9900 has the touch and type feature and is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor. It also has HD video recording, 24 bit high resolution graphics along with advanced sensors to enable newly introduced reality applications like Wikitude and the likes.
BlackBerry Bold 9900 is the sleekest phone in the BlackBerry range and it is just 10.5 mm thick. The phone is also the first in the BlackBerry range to come with an integrated support for NFC, that is, Near Field Communications, a new age technology that will help the user to get his work done with just a tap on his/her smartphone. Besides this, the phone is also packed with the latest Liquid Graphics Technology from RIM which enhances the speed of the processor and also provides a highly receptive touch experience. The handset has the latest version of the BlackBerry messenger as well as the latest Facebook chat.
