Canon EOS Rebel T3i [600D] Review

Canon has introduced the new EOS Rebel T3i [600D] which is the iteration of the popular EOS Rebel T2i [550D]. The overall objective remains the same; the change has been brought into the features and the in-built technology. Canon EOS Rebel T3i [600D] is introduced in the market keeping in mind the professional photographers. The previous version of the DSLR camera was a revolution with a wide range of ISO levels and excellent HD movie features. The Canon EOS Rebel T3i [600D] has been equipped with 18 Megapixel CMOS sensor which is aimed at removing shaking effects by the hand and provide concise, sharp images. The ISO range provided this time lies between 100 to 6400 ISO, which is a significant update. Also, it now has improved HD video enhancement features. Digic 4 Image processor has also been in-built with the camera.

The new EOS Rebel T3i [600D] comes in with a lot many radical changes which include new settings and enhanced modes.

New filters that have been brought in are Soft Focus, Grainy White and Black, toy Camera, miniature Effect which can be applied while the image is processing. The best is that the edited images are stored as new ones without hampering the original picture. The Aspect Ratio feature permits you to adjust the aspect ratio to the desired level. The active screen displays cropping lines adjusting the ratio to the supported 16:9, 4:3. Adjustments of the image styles to dynamic levels can be done with the A+ Automatic Mode which controls the vividness with respect to the environment and the subject.

EOS Rebel T3i[600D]has a 3” Vari-Angle high resolution LCD with dust resistant and anti-reflective coating. HD video features include maximum resolution of 1920×1080 for selected frames like the 24fps, 25fps and 30fps. Two of canon’s technologies are also added to the Rebel T3i; DIGIC 4 imaging processor and the large APS-C-Sized CMOS sensors capable of producing minute detail of the subject captured. There are three separate video recording modes; Full HD, HD in aspect ratio 16:9 and standard definition (SD).

Verdict:

The Canon EOS Rebel T3i [600D] comes in with a price range of $799 – $ 899, which is a bit expensive. But considering the nature of the product the price is justified.
