While most companies prefer to stick to standardized designs, Galaxy is one company that is not afraid to experiment with new designs. A perfect example of this is the Galaxy GTX 560 Ti that has been reviewed by us. The GTX 560 Ti may look like a normal graphics card till the time you get to know about the fact that it supports five monitors simultaneously. The graphic card is equipped with a special chip that splits the signal from the main Display port to four monitors.
MDT X5 is longer than the normal GTX 560 Ti and has Galaxy’s own heat sink design. The heat sink is completely encased by aluminium to channel hot air outside the encasing. Also ventilation holes are present on the surface of the heat sink and they take in the cool air. A small translucent fan is also present and it cools the card. While the fan cannot be removed for cleaning, the encasing can come off easily.

The MDT X5 has four mini HDMI connectors that are linked to an IDT ViewXpand (VMM1400) chip which enable you to connect it to four other computers to the main Display Post connector. The only drawback is that it would not provide you with 3DVision Surround as Windows detects all the four monitors as one.
The main specifications of the graphic card are as follows:
- A core speed of 820 MHz and the memory runs at 4000MHz.
- Total memory: 1GB GDDR5 memory running on a 256-bit memory bus
- CUDA and PhysX support along with Nvidia 3DVision, PureVideo HD and DX11.
