MapmyIndia has launched a new tablet in the market by the name CarPad. The new MapmyIndia CarPad tablet is an Android 2.2 Froyo enabled tablet and is specially built for the Indian roads. The tablet is capable of holding and operating many applications and the tablet’s main feature is its use for navigation purposes all around India. The tablet is pre programmed to display the users a good and detailed view of the roads or the way they are traveling and they would have a better an enhanced travelling experience. Currently, the Indian market is bustling with many tablets but no such tablet has been developed which specially focuses on navigation.
The new CarPad has many attractive features like GPS and being Android powered, this tablet has many entertainment options as well. The MapmyIndia CarPad tablet has interesting specifications. First of all, this tablet is powered by a 600 MHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The CarPad provides 3D navigation facility with detailed maps and for this the tablet employs Adreno 200 GPU. The tablet with its vast and wide ranging data has the capability to show the names of the buildings, blocks and even house numbers as well. Consider this if you are the one travelling in your vehicle and you are being pampered with all such amazing data and so you never need to ask anybody for directions at all.
The CarPad has 8 GB of internal storage to contain all music and video files and the memory is expandable to 32 GB using microSD cards.
