Nikon Coolpix L23 is a very easy to use camera and is ideal for those looking to take a small handy camera on holidays or outings. The very high end features of a camera are stripped out from this and instead, it is made as simple as possible for those users who are technophobe and would hesitate to use a camera which provides large number of options, making it difficult to understand.
The Easy Auto Mode of Coolpix L23 lets you simply turn on the camera and start shooting while its Scene Auto Selector function selects the appropriate scene mode and changes the setting for perfect picture capture. The advanced functions of its Smart Portrait System, helps to produce consistently great portraits and include Face-priority AF, Smile Timer, Blink Warning, Blink Proof, Skin Softening and In-Camera Red-Eye Fix.
The Nikon Coolpix L23 does boast a video mode, but it’s only a 640×480 pixel (VGA) resolution mode which can only really be viewed on a computer screen.
