The Android version of the universal remote control application for the iOS devices has finally been launched by Thinkflood. The iOS version of the app had been released two years back. The Android RedEye application allows you to control all the gadgets that you possess which have RedEye. These gadgets include your, HVA, home theatre, lighting etc. All these can now be controlled with the help of your smartphone or tablet that is powered by Android.
The RedEye Android app supports networked RedEye products which include the RedEye and RedEye Pro and is compatible with devices working on Android 1.6 or a higher version, including tablets working on the 3.0 Honeycomb.

The RedEye Mini device does not support the application. This is because profound research needs to be done on the headphone jack of the Android handsets as well as enhancement in the Android’s NDK. The application can be downloaded for free from the Android market.
