Reliance Net Connect Plus Prices Dropped

In a bid to make its internet services available to all, Reliance communications today made a formal announcement about the decrease in prices of its Reliance Net Connect Plus Broadband device. The company wants to make the high speed broadband connection available to all who wish to have it.

This has been done to make the EVDO data based services of the company more popular among the masses as the prices have been slashed by the company. The price of the dongle has been decreased from Rs.1599 to Rs.1299 and the first recharge can be done at Rs.100 Instead of Rs.300. In total the customer will end up paying Rs.1399 instead of the Rs.1929 for there new Reliance Net Connect Plus. Similarly, the company has also reduced its Netconnect 1x customer MOP to Rs.999.

The offer is available in 175 towns of Tamil Nadu where customers get an 18 percent price reduction on the dongle and 69 percent reduction in the first recharge along with 5GB data and a validity of 30 days.

The company is aggressively publicizing its products in Tamil Nadu and has added more than hundred sites in the past month. The EVDO based wireless internet service of Reliance has the capability of serving up to 3.1 Mbps download speed and up to 1.8 Mbps upload speed. The service is available in 500 cities across the country and in places where the service is unavailable users enjoy internet connectivity on CDMA 1X.
