Samsung Galaxy Precedent is a new Android 2.2 powered touchscreen phone recently launched by Samsung. The new phone is at present available only in USA and that would be through Walmart only. The company has tied up with Walmart to get a particular user base and to promote the newly launched promote. The phone is launched in the market and this phone to be very specific is a CDMA phone. The service provider for this CDMA service will be Straight Talk. Straight Talk is a network provider which uses the Verizon and AT&T network to provide connectivity to its customers.

Is this phone based on CDMA SIM card? Can this phone be used for other networks/Service providers like Reliance in India?
No this is available via straighttalk.com and at this moment cannot be used with any other service provider, we hope that it will be available for India customers also in the near future
