Symbian Anna Update Available For Free in India

The Symbian Anna update for Nokia N8, Nokia C7, Nokia C6-01 and Nokia E7 handsets was finally released by Nokia, after a long wait. The update has only been released in 15 countries uptil now, which includes India. You can download this update with the help of the most recent version of Ovi Suite that is the 3.1.1 version or via Over-The-Air (OVA). In case you don’t have a system or an internet connection there’s no need to panic, because you will receive the update by simply visiting the nearest Nokia Care Centre or Nokia Priority Partner and you will receive the update free of cost.

The Symbian backed handsets are used by millions of people across the globe and this update clearly proves the commitment of the company towards its customers. Nokia will be launching 10 more phones backed by Symbian in the coming year and will be supporting the software atleast till 2016.

    after *#0000# it says no updates available
    previously there was the error “operation canceled by server”.
    that means there is no anna OTA for India yet.. and if we do it through ovi suite we are sure to lose our data.
    WHAT TO DO? IN NOKIA CARE/SERVICE CENTRE, DO THEY DO IT OVER THE AIR OR OVI SUITE. I mean in OTA data loss is less likely than through USB.
