A new addition was recently made to its series of portable hard drives by Transcend. The hard drive has been named StoreJet 25A. The device is extremely sleek and attractive and is resistant to mechanical shocks. StoreJet25A is available in Super Speed USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 versions. The device is extremely portable owing to its design. But that doesn’t mean that it is delicate as it has a tough internal lining that protects it from mechanical shocks and jerks.
Also this is the slimmest Storejet drive that has this protective encasing and has a width of just 15mm. Also Storejet is equipped with a backup facility by Transcend Elite and it also has some security software which complements the One Touch Backup Button that is presents on the surface of the drive. Storejet is capable of supporting 256 bit AES file encryption and has its own RecoveRx software that will help the user to retrieve files that get deleted accidentally. The Transcend external hard drive comes with a three year warranty period and the USB 3.0 version is known as StoreJet 25A3 and is available in three varieties- 500 GB (Rs.6150), 750 GB (Rs.7350), and 1 TB (Rs.9800) and the USB 2.0 version that is StoreJet 25A2 is available in the same varities and are priced at Rs.5650, Rs.6800, and Rs.9200 respectively.
