Dell Latitude XT3 Convertible Tablet PC Review

Another product has been added to the Latitude series by Dell. It is the XT3 and is capable of changing its form from a normal notebook to a touch screen tablet and vice versa. The swivel screen concept for computers is not novel as there have been many models from Fujitsu, Toshiba and HP with the same feature. Unfortunately they have not been very successful in the market.

Latitude XT3 is powered by an Intel core i5-2520 M alongwith a 2 GB DDR3 memory. The notebook has a 6 cell battery as well as a 9 cell battery extension to extend the battery support to the system. It also has the ExpressCharge feature that replenishes the battery upto 80% within an hour. The notebook has a 13.3 inch anti-glare LED backlit touchscreen display that has the ambient light sensor which draws less battery power. A bi-directional hinge connects the screen to the main body. Along with the system a stylus has also been provided that would make it easier to use the touchscreen when required. Latitude XT3 comes with the Dell Webcam Central software that gives out the best video conferencing experience.
