A new notebook has been launched by Dell, it has been dubbed as the Vostro 3750 and it is essentially a business notebook that is targeted at the corporate users. The Vostro series is a milder version of their Latitude series. The Vostro V130 was reviewed as a bit too pricey for its features and we have reviewed the Vostro V3750 for you so that you can decide if this notebook is worth its money or not.
The V3750 is very similar to the V130 in its design except that it has a 17.3 inch WLED display which makes it slightly thicker than the V130. The notebook weighs 3 kg but you wouldn’t feel it thanks to proper weight distribution of the internal components. The system has a total of four USB ports for various connectivities, two of these ports are USB 3.0 ports. Besides this, the notebook also has a DVD burner, HDMI and VGA port, card reader, mic and headphone jack etc. The notebook is equipped with a full sized chiclet keyboard. The security has been taken care of with the finger print scanner present near the keyboard.
Also there are three shortcut buttons present along with the power button. These shortcut buttons can be customized by you with the help of the Dell support center for opening applications of your choice. The battery of the notebook is detachable and you can have a 6 cell battery or a 9 cell battery.
The notebook is backed by Intel’s Core i7 2630QM, which runs at 2.0GHz with the ability to turn up to 2.9GHz. Besides this, there is 6GB RAM, a 750 GB hard drive and Nvidia’s GT 525M with the Optimus technology. The Vostro 3750 also has the Intel WiDi technology that enables the user to clone your desktop to a TV wirelessly.
