You must have already witness the new face of Facebook and the latest features. There has been a mixed opinion on the new Facebook UI, some loved it, some found it irritating and messy. But we can’t deny the fact that with this new change in Facebook is really giving G+ a tough competition. We already have told you how to change the new Facebook’s UI and today we are coming up with some interesting thing for everyone. I will not say that this particular thing is only for the developers but it is also for other people- until they love to do cheeky experiments with their accounts.
We will tell you today how to enable Timeline in Facebook in our own account. Trust me this is really cool and by just following our 8 simple steps you will also be able to access this nice app. Just go through the below given gallery. First, Get Started with this following link, then click “Allow”.
1. Once you get started with this, click “Create New App“.
2. Then name it whatever you want and give it whatever Namespace you like. Click the Checkbox “I agree to the platform privacy policy” and click “Continue“.
3. After you verified yourself, click the “Open Graph” on the left side.
4. Then type anything you like in the entitled “Get Started With Open Graph” and click “Get Started“.
5. On this screen just scroll down the page and don’t do anything and just click “Save changes and Next“.
6.You will be sent to this screen, wait for few minutes and then go to the homepage of your account where you will be invited to the Timeline. And be patient at this time.
7. When you visit your homepage…you can see the invitation. And click “Get it now” and then you are in.
8. You have made it to your own Timeline. Just check everything and click “Publish” to confirm and your timeline is live. Or you can wait till 29 September 2011, when it gets live. And if you want to see your Timeline from another computer then the address of this developer’s version is located at this URL: http://www.facebook.com/[yourusername]?sk=timeline.
