HTC Incredible S is a super duper successor of much famous HTC Incredible. There have been some changes in HTC Incredible S like the screen in moving from 3.7 to 4 inches and AMOLED panel changed to the Super LCD. HTC Incredible S have got an upgraded Snapdragon inside it and is loaded with an Adreno 205 graphics, which helps you to play perfect classy games and HD videos. The chip combo inside HTC Incredible S is as same as the Sony Xperia Play has, which is surely Playstation certified.
The design of HTC Incredible S is brilliant and HTC’s loathed Incredible back cover has made a comeback with this smartphone. The cover has a rubbery feel and is made of matte plastic. It is durable and will take the bruises quite beautifully. Now talking about the north, south, east, west of HTC Incredible S, you will two buttons on the sides of the phone which is for- volume rocker on the left and power button on the top right side. Moving upwards you will come across a MicroUSB port, a mic port, and a 3.5 headphone jack and just beneath it a 1.4 megapixel camera is placed. On the back of HTC Incredible S, a superb 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash / flashlight and a single loudspeaker is placed.
Inside the HTC Incredible S, you will find first a 1450 mAh battery which is same as we found in Desire HD. Along with it; you will also come across a Qualcomm MSM8255 system-on-chip, a 678 MB RAM, and an Adreno 205 GPU. If we compare HTC Incredible S with HTC Desire HD in terms of performance then, HTC Incredible S is a real winner here- because of its exceptional performance. To enjoy multimedia in HTC Incredible S HTC has added virtual surround sound SRS WOW HD technology. With the inclusion of this feature the quality of sound becomes far much better than previous HTC’s.
What can I say about display? It’s just amazing; the vivid colors of this beautiful display will make you feel-INCREDIBLE. The 4-inch display which supports 800 x 480 pixels resolution looks great. Other panel technologies like the Apple’s Retina Display or Samsung’s Super AMOLED have made a huge difference in smartphones but what I think here is that you will struggle to tell a difference between this. The only thing which bothered me was that the HTC Incredible S was not so much impressive in bright sunlight, but it is excellent in other conditions.
