MTS will be launching a new tablet named MTS 1055 Tablet by the end of this year. The tablet is set to be launched by the last quarter of 2011. It is very competitively priced in the Indian market and is loaded with many features and specifications. The best thing is that the tablet is Android 2.3 Gingerbread powered.
MTS 1055 Tablet has a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen and displays images with WVGA 800×480 pixels resolution. The new MTS 1055 Tablet is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor. It doesn’t have much internal space but the tablet can store a lot of data if you expand the memory through microSD card slots to 32 GB. The tablet employs 3.2 MP camera to take good pictures and images. The MTS 1055 Tablet lacks a front camera and so you won’t be able to do video calling. Connectivity options are good enough with Bluetooth v2.1, 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS. The new MTS 1055 Tablet has a good back up of 3400 mAh and this is actually enough to power you table for long. For all these features, the tablet weighs just 400 grams and so is quite lightweight.
