MTS MTAG 3.1 and MTS Livewire Review And Specifications

Keeping in mind the craze for smartphones in the market Sistema Shyam TeleServices which operates under MTS has rolled out two new Android handsets in the sub 5000 category. These are MTS MTAG 3.1 and MTS Livewire.

The handsets are powered by Snapdragon S1 processors and would run on CDMA EV-DO Rev A technology. The handsets have been launched keeping in mind the Indian masses.

The MTS MTAG 3.1 has a 2.8 inch capacitive touchscreen with 240X320 pixels display. It supports a multi-format audio/video player and comes with a 3.5 mm jack. The handset comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera. It also comes with the TV application that enables the users to access the Live TV. You can also easily access Google Mail, YouTube, Google Talk and Google Maps. The voice search feature lets you search for information without typing in anything.

MTS Livewire works on the CDMA EV-DO and provides lighting fast internet. I’s voice feature is the same as MTS MTAG 3.1 and can be used to access the Google Mail, YouTube, Google Talk and Google Maps.

The exact price of these phones have not been disclosed yet and they will be made available for sale from September 1, 2011.
