Sony has made a new addition to its Walkman series of music players. It is called the Walkman Z1000 and is the most advanced player that Sony has rolled out till date. The Walkman Z1000 is equipped with a 4.3 inch LCD display and is powered by a Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile dual core processor. This enables quicker browsing, high definition HD videos and it also has the ability to multi-task. The player is based on the Android 2.3, Gingerbread operating system and comes pre-loaded with the “S-Master MX” sound processing for better audio and it has the noise-cancellation technology too. It comes with the “W” button that is present in all the Walkman devices that is used for launching the music player.
It is DLNA capable and enables users to play multimedia content from DLNA enabled devices, including the Network Music Players, WiFi enabled cameras and photo frames, wireless speakers, home cinema systems or television sets without any use of wires.

Walkman Z1000 is available in three different models based on their capacities. They are 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB which have been priced at Rs.17,270, Rs20,354 and Rs.26,526 respectively.
The device will be made available on December 10th in Japan and will be released in India in the first week of January.
