We have seen the new iPad2 and it is obvious that we all are impressed with this masterpiece. iPad2 is a thin device almost measuring 0.34 inches, but the next generation will feature much lighter and even thinner improved battery pack.
According to Taiwan Economic News, two suppliers of iPad and Macbook batteries, Simplo Technology Co. and Dynapack International Technology Corp., are ready to produce the new pack as early as Q4 2011, with mass production expected in the first quarter of 2012.
This revolutionary change will surely affect the performance of an iPad and the new batteries will allow iPad to be thinner and lighter and extend its battery life. The only problem here is that with this change coming up, there will be also a massive change in the pricing of iPads. It is expected that the new iPads will come at a 20-30% bigger price because of the advanced technology used.
