Samsung Galaxy R will be Launched this Month

The Samsung Galaxy R is all set to be launched in India, this month. This is also an Android based smartphone and will be out in the coming 15 days time.

The Galaxy R Android smartphone resembles the Galaxy S2 just that it sports a smaller display that is 4.2 inches. It does not have an AMOLED display. The handset is based on the Gingerbread operating system and is also equipped with the touch wiz user interface. It is packed with the Samsung Hubs that supports content such as games, music, videos etc.

It is powered by a dual core Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor and has 8 GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of the microSD slot that has been provided. The handset has a 5 MP rear facing camera that has Led flash. Also, there is a 1.3 MP front facing camera that enables video calls. The price of the Galaxy R has not been declared yet, but is expected to be priced close to Rs.27,000.
