Disabling Facebook Photo Theater mode

Solution 1:  When you click on a photograph, it will automatically open tem in the theater mode. Now in the address bar, look for “&theater” and delete it. Then, it will open the photo in the old format and you can start browsing the album as you used to do before.

Solution 2: An easier alternative to Option 1 is to refresh the page. When reloaded, the photo will open in the old format and you can continue browsing as before. As mentioned before, neither of these solutions are permanent. When you go back to your feed and open a different photo/album, it will again open in the theater mode, and you would have to repeat either of the solutions.

(use the corresponding applications, for instance, for Microsoft Windows XP you can use the Diskpart application and for Microsoft Windows Vista / Microsoft Windows 7 use the HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool) and then write Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 to your Drive.

Deactivating GoogleUpdate.exe

1. The most easiest way is to disallow “GoogleUpdate.exe” to access Internet using your system Firewall. You can create a new rule for it.

1. The second method goes as follows:

First disable “GoogleUpdate.exe” from system startup. Type msconfig in RUN dialog box an d press Enter. It’ll open “System Configuration” window. Now goto “Startup” tab and uncheck “GoogleUpdate” from the list. Apply the changes and restart your system. (PS: You can also use Registry Editor or any other 3rd party utility to remove startup entry. Windows Defender can also do the job.) The next step is to remove the scheduled task created for GoogleUpdate.exe from our system. For that, open “Scheduled Tasks” or “Task Scheduler” from Control Panel or Programs menu. One can also run it by directly providing “taskschd.msc” command in RUN dialog box or by opening “%windir%\Tasks” folder.

Now look for the “GoogleUpdateTas Next, remove the “GoogleUpdate.exe” file permanently so that it doesn’t add its entry in startup.

• Go to following folder: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Update
• Replace C: with your system drive where Windows is installed and replace “Administrator” with your user name in Windows.
• In the above folder, you’ll find the “GoogleUpdate.exe” file. Delete the file.
• If you find any difficulties in deleting the file, then make sure GoogleUpdate.exe is not running in background, if its running then End Task of it using Task Manager and then try to delete it again.

Now you’ll no longer see “GoogleUpdate.exe” file in background process list. But, this process, removes GoogleUpdate.exe permanently from the system. Although, it can be downloaded again, but, it has to be done manually.

SO what, if GoogleUpdate.exe gets deleted permanently?

GoogleUpdate.exe a standalone exe file which is used by Google Chrome to check for new updates. If it finds any update available, it downloads and installs it. But it can get annoying as it never asks before downloading or installing the updates, instead keeps running in background all the time. Offline installer of Google Chrome which doesn’t include the “GoogleUpdate.exe” file can also be downloaded.

It will install in your system as a virtual printer and will allow the creation of PDF files from any Windows program that gives its user a “Print” option. It also provides great advantages over other PDF file writers. Presently, it can communicate with the user in four languages viz., English, French, German and Portuguese.

• Open a new MS Word file.
• You may add content in the form of text, pictures, clips etc.
• After creating this Word file, select the “Print” option

Quickly shaping up into the fastest selling Smartphone in the company’s history, the iPhone 4 is being expected to hit the world by 30th July, when it would be available in Australia , Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Acer has launched a brand new product in the market : The all new Acer Aspire One D255!! It’s the first Acer Notebook, as it claims, that features the new Atom N550 dual-core processor  and it clocks at 1.5 Ghz along with a 512 KB L2 cache.

Unlike the Acer Aspire One D260 that made a debut with computing a few months ago, this D255 comes with minor designing tweaks – without chrome accents and glass splitter.
