Touchfreeze – Automatically Turn Off Touchpad While Typing

Using a touchpad laptop or netbook can end up typing somewhere else or not able to write anything because of accidently sliding hand on the touchpad surface. This results in changing the position of the cursor, switching to another window or executing any unwanted action etc. To prevent this, an application was developed called touchfreeze which was developed by Keith and his team.

When you start typing in your screen touchfreeze disables the touchpad, this prevent all the possibility of mishaps. Many touchpad are usually the Synaptic device and for your settings of synaptic touchpad can find in the mouse settings in the last tab. This device has the option to disable the touchpad whenever any external hardware device is attached like a mouse or other pointing device. The synaptics can also be accessed by double clicking on the icon of synaptics in your system tray and, for the Mac users, the same settings are used. . This application is advisable as there is no need to upload any kind of software and easily accessible.

The installation procedure of this application is extremely easy, all you have to do is execute the downloaded file, then accept to run the program in the security warning window and then accept to install the program on the select folder or browse to select the folder on the installation wizard.
