No matter how hard one might try but it’s usually difficult for the technological realm to stay away from indulging in tittle-tattles about the latest or newly churned products. Something similar seems to have happened with Toshiba as well. After divulging certain details on the long-rumored successor of AT100 tablet, the company has now finally revealed their latest Toshiba Excite X10 tablets; complete with significant specifications and price point.

Designed aesthetically, Excite X10 is a 10.1-inch slim tablet with a 1280 x 800 resolution display which enables users to manage their personal and professional facets with unprecedented ease. Also entitled as Toshiba AT200, the portable computing solution features a powerful dual core OMAP 4430 processor and 1GB of RAM for enhanced performance and speedy experience. By playing on the device’s potent capabilities, users will be allowed to stay connected with closed ones, surf the web, watch high definition content, and listen to crystal clear songs with a cinch.

The sleek tablet also features front and rear cameras for capturing good moments whereas the micro HDMI and micro USB connectivity perk up the interaction. Users can even benefit from the integrated microSD slot which, a bit to dismay does not come with the Apple iPad. The most highlighted feature of Excite X10, however, is the 7.62mm slender body which makes it simpler for an individual to piggyback the device anywhere, anytime.

Although there are several aspects that can be considered for drawing a comparison, the lean framework of Excite X10 indeed surpasses the iPad 2 which comes around 0.346 inches (8.8mm) thick. While there are other manufacturers as well that zoom on trimming down the device’s chassis and dimensions, Toshiba has impressed quite a lot by infusing dual cameras in a commendably thin design. What may surprise many is that the device features a number of physical connectivity options too.

Touted to be the thinnest tablet on the market, the new Toshiba Excite X10 furthermore gains attention for supposedly being a tough rival to Apple’s feature-loaded iPad 2. Nevertheless, consumers may have to hang onto their hats to decide which one of these two performs better.

Reportedly, the initial units of Toshiba’s latest tablet will be running on Android Honeycomb. Though, a significant update to Ice Cream Sandwich operating system is anticipated to bless the device somewhere later in this year. The 10-inch grabs eyeballs for providing the custom android user interface. Users will be experiencing improved File Manager, DLNA compatibility, Netflix and Quick Office. On the other side, for users who are inclined towards listening to euphonious tunes are rendered with stereo speaker, media player and sound enhancements by Toshiba and SRS Labs.

The new Toshiba Excite X10 will make users shell out nearly $529 for its 16GB variant. The 32GB model, whereas, has been tagged at a price that reads at $599. The availability for the tablet is anticipated to buzz around the first quarter of this year. But as far as the heavy price points are concerned, we believe there will be a drop as soon as Apple announces the next generation iPad.

LG releases photos of its most awaited 55” OLED TV. 55EM9600 is supposed to be the thinnest OLED TV known till now. It has a 55” screen and weighs 7.5 kg only with mere 4mm thickness.

LG gifts smiles in many faces this fresh new year by releasing photos of its most awaited 55” OLED TV; one week after its official announcement. Along with the pictures LG electronics also unveiled the model number and details about this eye catchy television.

Korean electronics company LG announced its Model number: 55EM9600. This TV uses the OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode Technology) and the new panel uses LG 4-Colour Pixel and Colour Refiner features. The Colour Refines is basically a set of algorithms which improves and refine hues and tones in turn providing bright and sharp pictures.

55EM9600 is supposed to be the thinnest OLED TV known till now. It has a 55” screen and weighs 7.5 kg only with mere 4mm thickness. It is said to be about 1000 times technically better than the present LED TVs. This TV uses four-colour pixel rather than the conventional three primary colour pixel (red-blue-green). These 4-Colours are made from white OLED sub pixel with colour filters. The Four-Colour pixel includes Red-Blue-Green-White which helps in making the pictures more natural and clear.

About OLED Technology

OLED TVs are brighter, more efficient, thinner, better contrast and feature better refresh rates than LCD and Plasma TVs. It also provides a better viewing angle of about 180 degrees. It is eco-friendly as it draws less power and contains no harmful metals. It is potentially flexible as well as transparent.

When it comes to OLED technology, it is not new to LG as it has already introduced its first OLED TV: LG 15”EL9500 which is by now on sale in Korea and Europe.

The price of the vibrant and sleek 4mm, 55” OLED 55EN9600 has not yet been revealed but is the most discussed topic among the gizmo geeks.

Keeping the price apart, it is sure that introduction of this product will definitely be the turning point in the light weight, thin and eco-friendly TV technology!!!

If you are packing your bags and heading off to sunny climes or snow covered slopes this Christmas, you do not have to travel without the benefit of technology.

Out in the Sticks

Taking a touring holiday has never been easier with the array of gadgets and gizmos available for the modern tourist. From the modern functionality of techno maps to the Earthmate hand held GPS, which allows you to plot your position anywhere on the earth even when you do not have a cell phone signal. If you are out on the trail, but still want to stay in touch, you need to have the ability to charge up your phone without trying to find an electrical outlet. Solar Technology has developed a range of chargers for your Smartphone that use a solar powered panel to make sure you’re always in touch in a green world.

Travel gadgets make life on the road a pleasure and you don’t want to leave home without browsing through your App store to see what phone gadgets can make your life easier while you travel the world. From translation tools, maps and GPS to handy guides about what to order in a foreign restaurant and how to find a taxi in Timbuktu, your Smartphone is your virtual guide to a real world of adventure and excitement.

Automobile Attachments

One of the best new devices is a travel router, which helps you plan your trip without the frustration of massive maps and local travel information. This is a great addition to any road trip and especially important if you’re on a motoring holiday and want to avoid road works, traffic and travel delays.

A universal power adaptor is also a great gift for people who are heading off on a motoring holiday. It is slim line and can be used on planes as well as any type of vehicle. If you need power in a hurry and do not want to have to search for an electronic store this is the perfect gadget.

Lugging Luggage

If you’re expecting delays, and long airport waits, or even a 3-mile walk through your destination city, you don’t want to have to struggle with your luggage. The Walkin Bag is a luxury, high-tech take on the wheelie bag. It is ultra strong and has the benefit of unfolding into a handy seat that will comfortably take the weight of an adult male.

The modern traveller is not one who is afraid of the unknown, but international safety and security has become a point to ponder these days. If you want to make sure that your hotel room is extra safe, you can install the mobile Travel Door Alarm to any door, which will alert you with sound and an LED to any possible intrusion, even the turn down service!

You can stay safe on the road in the air and at your destination wherever you travel this Christmas.

If you are driving or walking, stay safe at Christmas with these helpful tips from Vroomvroomvroom.co.uk.

This year you might be tempted to get your kids a pack of toothbrushes and a baseball (After all that’s what you got at that age…) but there are a lot of things they might appreciate more. Electronics are a great gift for any age because they do things, they can be unique to the individual person and they will last for many years (in most cases). This top five list of gadget gifts for kids starts at under $50!

Robot Clock

Most kids love Robots! If they don’t, try showing them the Disney/Pixar film of the same name. This adorable robot clock comes in black or red, features movable arms and legs, can be displayed standing, sitting or hanging and of course tells time. Makes a great gift for boys of any age and the difficult to shop for girl who just isn’t ‘in to’ Barbie! Starts at $49.95

Kids Camera

A camera is a great gift for any child and with a kids camera you can rest assured that it will withstand the beating of being dropped, placed in a backpack full of books and any other harm that would befall a camera in the hands of your children. This Fisher Price model is made of durable plastic, starts at $39.99 and comes in pink, blue and black.

Karaoke Machine

While a karaoke machine might not have been the first thing to come to mind when you started trying to come up with things to get your children for Christmas, it should have been.

Beetel introduced in the market earlier a tablet called ‘Beetel Magiq’, available at an affordable price of Rs 9000/- but its features were not so attractive and were not appreciated by tech critics. This turned out to be a massive disappointment for Beetel. Beetel, now learning from its mistakes has introduced another Tablet for the Indian customers. This Tablet is almost identical to its previous tablet Magiq and is considered to be its sibling with a new name ‘Beetel Magiq Glide’. This Tablet is enhanced, and has all the features that were not available in Beetel Magiq and hence Beetel Magiq Glide sure is considered better. The most striking features of Beetel Magiq Glide are its 7 inch display, 1 GHz Qualcomm processor and Android 2.2 Froyo operating system. With all this features and a price Rs/- 10000 is even more attractive.

As said by the Mr. Vinod Sawhny – Executive Director & CEO, Beetel Teletech “The Magiq Glide is the latest addition to our successful Magiq range of tablets, which has been highly appreciated by the Indian consumers. After an extensive market-research and keeping in mind the feedback received from our customers on our previous products we have come up with the Magiq Glide. The new tablet has all the features available in our previous products, which our customers liked and additionally we have added a capacitive touch screen to enrich the touch experience.” What we can anticipate and expect from his saying is Beetel Magic Glide is sure going to provide its users the experience they found lacking in Beetel Magic.

Beetel Magiq Glide has a fascinating look that is available in shades of bronze and chrome that will sure make users feel away from the monotonous black/grey color scheme in tablets. It has a back stand that increases its vitality during video playback and video chats. Beetel Magiq Glide has a slightly larger screen than the usual size screen so; it also appears a lot better than other tablets. The best feature about its display is its screen ratio of 16:9 which is found in most other tablets.

Beetel Magiq Glide houses calls connect and disconnect buttons on the right-hand side and all of the android dedicated buttons on the left hand side. This tablet is included with non-touch sensitive buttons that look quite fancy but, they actually work, and need to be pressed hard to use them, this makes it difficult for a new user to use Beetel Magic Glide.

The screen resolution of Beetel Magic Glide is 800×600, which is usable, only for fundamental work and its display is not refined and lacks features to compete with other tablets in the market. This tablet is played using a graphics engine thus there is no visible video lag to notice but is not convincing enough for playing games. Beetel Magiq Glide has capacitive touch but, it lacks an essential feature of multi-touch so, you cannot zoom by just -drawing gestures on the screen. Also, this tablet is provided with a track-pad that is not actually usable with the capacitive screen but is highly usable when the screen fails to respond.

Beetel Magiq Glide has a hard plastic body that is extremely tough but its 7” screen does not look as it can survive the fall. Also, it has a metallic battery cover that adds up the appeal to this device. Beetel Magiq Glide features a 768 MHz processor with integrated display processor of 568 MHz, 600 MHz is the minimum required processor to operate a device so, you can sure run applications on this device but, better is to not to expect this tablet to do wonders. Beetel Magiq Glide tablet inhibits in itself 512 MB of RAM so; you can sure use applications in an efficient manner. For data connectivity, this device uses Wi-Fi and cellular data, or a SIM card. With the availability of Wi-Fi it sure works the best in data connectivity. There are two camera’s available in Beetel Magiq Glide, one in the front for making video calls and for capturing images in VGA Resolution and one at the back so, you can capture images and make videos. The camera works well in places well-lit and does not works well in dim-lighted areas. Also, the inbuilt speakers in it are doing their job quite well, and there is also an integral mic for making video calls and so there is no need to use hands-free equipment every time you need to make a call.

Beetel Magiq Glide’s lacks a good battery, which is truly saddening; its 2200 mAh battery does not give it sound power for a long duration. Its battery can back up to 3 hours and cannot stand any longer, whereas takes a whole lot of 4 hours to charge fully, you can also use the USB PC connectivity to charge the Beetel Magiq Glide tablet but, it still takes almost the same time.

We could sure say that Beetel Magiq Glide sure lacks too many features that are actually a necessity in tablets for instance lack of multi touch and it’s to low battery power. It is also quite heavy with a weight of about 500 grams whereas other tablet available in the market are of the same weight and provide a much bigger screen of 10” and provide excellent battery backup. Although if you are not willing to spend a whole lot of money on your tablet then you could sure buy Beetel Magiq Glide tablet but remember to keep your charger with you at all times, you sure will need it now and then.

Headphones have become the most integrated part of our lives nowadays when it comes to music. There is a lot of difference between listening music on the speaker and the headphones. The heart-pumping beats, the bass, superb audio quality, you can only get this in headphones. Personally, I prefer listening music on headphones because for me the music straight connects to my heart and the joy of listening music becomes twice as before.

History of headphones is a long one. The first earpiece came in the beginning of 20th century. The first successful earpiece was developed by Natheniel Baldwin, who made them by hand in his kitchen and sold them to the U.S Navy. The sun was 1919 when the very sensitive headphones were manufactured by Brandes for radio work and by then this ultimate invention never looked back and continued to evolve decade by decade and we know at present the capability of the headphones.

So, we going to enlist top five headphones for music which will let you to move…shake …groove. Here they are-

1. Phonak Audeo PFE 012

It has not easy creating the perfect headphones. Music is so intuitive that one man’s perfect pitch is a little lacking in bass for another, and extremely strong- sounding for pedant no.3. The PFE 012′s learn about as convincing a job of satisfying distinct tastes as any-in-ears we’ve tried. Building on the success of the pricier 111s, they dig up bags of detail, surrender clean vocals and a noticeable soundstage, and up the bass to party-worthy levels. They are also barely-there lightweight and subtly beautiful. They could easily sell for twice the amount.

Groovy Feature: Tiny 14g heft makes the 012′s fine for exercise.

Price: US $125.

2. Beats By Dr.Dre Tour

Between taking his time to utter a measure, Dr.Dre spends his working hours with Monster’s audio engineers. The fruits of their labour? These Beats Tour in-ear sound isolated. They are whacking punchy, and compress a entire lotta’s heart Beats by name.

Price: US $220.

3. Sennheiser CX300-II

Thanks to remarkable price reductions, the CX300-II’s present even better value for money. Replace your bundled headphones with these and you will find out what you have been missing: deep bass, sparkling detail and impressive dynamics. You will thank us later.

Price: US $50.

4. Powerbeats By Dr.Dre

We never had Dr Dre down as a fitness fan, but the headphones he has designated for sweaty gym sessions are truly impressive. Expect powerful, robust and powerful range, then be pleasantly surprised by the line-in mic and three-button iPhone remote.

Price: US $205.

5. Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 vi

Offering audio that has full bodied and strong; with excellent levels of detail, the 10vis will remain firmly nestled in your plughole thanks to a shape able over-ear band. With phone controls on-hand, they are a excellent choice for wealthy iPhone owners.

Price: US $295
